The Nannies we place meet the following minimum criteria:
  • High school graduate
  • Minimum age of 18 ranging up to 65
  • Valid drivers license
  • US citizen/English speaking
  • Previous childcare/nanny experience
The following screening is done on each candidate by Nannies of Nebraska:
  • Application
  • Autobiographical sketch
  • Photograph
  • Personal or phone interview (depending on distance)
  • Reference Checking - we require four written references and a minimum of two are followed up by a phone call
  • Driving record check
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry Clearance done in the states which are accessible
  • Physician's Statement
  • Transcripts
The following standards are met by most of our nannies:
  • CPR Training
  • Non-smoker
  • Swimmer
  • Some college education/College Degree
